It's almost ready to go as it is. I think about the only things missing on the inside are the baldachin and altar rail.

Lovely work in many ways... but sticking a Da Vinci Last Supper on the altar? Reengaging the Tradition does not mean re-doing all of the copyist, derivative bad ideas from the 19th century!

I suspect that was salvaged from elsewhere.

I'd had similar thoughts about the Last Supper carving; but I was also slightly bemused by the reference on the parish website to a 'tabernacle Installation of traditional stained glass windows' . . . what on earth is that ?

Perhaps a typo? That's the only explanation I can see.
I wish they'd post more renderings!
Also, I will fix the entry but it turns out Mr. Visco did not do the image of Our Lady; I was misinformed.

Still, all in all, it looks like an enormous improvement for St Bede's parish!

Matthew,
Your mention of Pietrasanta in the update immediately brought to mind the work of the American Dominican Tom McGlynn, who lived and worked there. (McGlynn worked with Lucia to develop the image of Our Lady of Fatima, but that does not seem to be a good example of his own style.) What can you tell us of Pietrasanta? Is the fellow you mentioned in the update an indication that Catholic art still thrives there?

He does do amazing stuff. I think he needs to be in closer contact with a real liturgical expert. His LaCrosse OL Guadalupe Shrine's sanctuary is entirely impractical for the sacred liturgy in either form. Too many steps in too small a space makes it very difficult to move around at all!

Aric--I have no idea, actually... It sounds like an interesting story in any case.
