Gravatar Now that you've mentioned Guerrero and Morales... you must have someone write about the excellent, fascinating project undertaken by Michael Noone and Ensemble Plus Ultra - their work on Codex 25 from Toledo links shares so many similiarities with the rediscovery of our liturgical heritage.

At some point, perhaps sooner rather than later, I would like to open up the spreadsheet for user-contributed edits. In the meantime, Please feel free to alert me to any pieces that don't yet appear on the spreadsheet by using this contact form.

Thank you!

Gravatar What? Are there no composers of sacred Catholic music during the centuries between Byrd and Bruckner worth a t-shirt ?

Gravatar Can anyone recommend a good Byrd biography?

Gravatar Rich;
You might try "William Byrd. A short account of his life and work." by E.H. Fellowes.

Gravatar You're not as obsessed as those guys who named themselves "The Byrds". :)
