Now that you've mentioned Guerrero and Morales... you must have someone write about the excellent, fascinating project undertaken by Michael Noone and Ensemble Plus Ultra - their work on Codex 25 from Toledo links shares so many similiarities with the rediscovery of our liturgical heritage.

You might try "William Byrd. A short account of his life and work." by E.H. Fellowes.
You're not as obsessed as those guys who named themselves "The Byrds". :)
