Another fine post.
I would add that as we beg the gov't to build walls around the country to keep those "other people" out, the walls will work even better for keeping us in.
We seem to be heading for a country in which it's a crime to not have your documents in order, where you work only with permission of gov't, where gov't may spy on you with impunity, where habeus corpus no longer matters, and where the borders are closed.
