Libertarians and paleoconservatives are not the same thing. paleoconservatives believe in nearly zero immigration and anti-amnesty for illegals already here. They also are against free trade, which Libertarians love. Libertarians must have never read about the industrial revolution. Everything sucked for nearly everyone then. Working conditions, child labor, etc. www. (deleted by site owner -- no free advertising for racist sites --- if you want welfare get it someplace else).

First, I have deleted the link that “prape” put in his message. It was a link to a racist, commercial site. I know that his type often live off of welfare and subsidies from others. But if he wants a free lunch to advertise his bigotry he isn’t getting it here.
Now for the brief, fleeting comment he made that alleges something worth responding to. He acknowledges that paleconservatives are basically anti-free trade and anti-immigration. Well, duh! I said so and think it is one reason they are such immoral cretins.
Then our George Wallace-loving bigot (literally) said that libertarians must know nothing about the industrial revolution be “everything sucked for nearly everyone then.” I note that he is merely repeating the bull crap spread by the socialists and communists. But it is just that -- bull crap. It is a lie spread by the Far Left and believed by some morons in the extreme Right.
Children labored long before the industrial revolution just in family farms where every child had to work in order to feed the family. With the industrial revolution the number of children working declined. The number of children in school increased. More importantly the life span of children increased and infant mortality rates went down. Fewer kids were dying -- our bigot friend calls that bad news for everybody.
The life span for workers increased substantially with most the increase hitting infants and children who saw their survival rates improve dramatically. One result of that was a massive population explosion in England before birth rates started to decline. The income of workers increased as more capital made them more productive. Previously where every family member had to work to sustain the family it dramatically declined until eventually one parent working was sufficient -- today taxes make sure that often two parents must work just to feed the greedy politicians and bureaucrats.
Historian T.S. Ashton put this sort of Marxist nonsense to rest in his book The Industrial Revolution which demonstrates the improving working conditions and living conditions for everyone during the industrial revolution. But the bigots on the Right prefer to believe the bigots on the Left -- like Marx and Engels.
In addition to increasing wages the Industrial Revolution brought declining prices for things consumed by workers. Declining prices coupled with increasing wages made life significantly better. Food remained relatively costly until the end of the Industrial Revolution when the Manchester Liberals helped abolish the corn laws which kept food prices artificially high. The laws that made food expensive were anti-free trade laws which “protected” wealthy land owners and transferred income from the poorer, working classes to the aristocracy. That is what free trade abolished.

The new “gas” industry meant that homes could be lighted well at night, a luxury previously afforded only the wealthy. Glassware became much cheaper and affordable to workers where previously that was not the case. Transport costs dropped dramatically allowing working people to travel far easier than before.
Here are some hard numbers. Average income per person in England (in 1970 US dollars) was around $333 in 1700. Prior to industrialization this hardly increased at all. During the Industrial Revolution average income went up to $498 in 1830 and then to $804 in 1860. Bascially it tripled in one life time, this during periods of declining costs. Real income for the poorest segment of society increased by 70 percent.
So wages were up. Costs of living were down. Life expectancy increased, child mortality rates declined. New goods and services never before available to the working poor became widely available -- such as cotton, transport, gas lighting, fruits, education. Even the pessimists on the Left today concede that after 1820 economic growth was rapid for everyone leading to vastly improved conditions.

One has to keep in mind that many Klan groups are fronted by some idiot that got popped for coke or something else illegal and are fronting for the FBI or other unsavory types doing entrapment to "bust" others.
A sideshow of this is joining political movements to stain them by association.
Think of it as Your tax dollars at work, destroying the Political Process.
