Might I suggest, one of Vince's friends get a POA and Health Care POA done NOW, that way the friend will be able to represent Vince's interests and get the info needed
ML: It is not possible to get a POA from someone who unconscious. One has been drawn up for him to sign, if he wishes, as soon as he is awake. But it doesn't do any good at this time.

Yes. The situation has become worse in fact. We are hopeful but not optimistic at this point. This is a very said time for lots of Vince's friends and he had many, many friends.
Oh my. I am SO sorry to hear this. I lost my first cousin (a young woman in her 30's) to pneumonia several years ago. I will keep Vince in my prayers
