Unless the settlement included a provision not to sue the individual officers in civil court, the victim has that option as well.
all the officers in this case should be killed as an example of what happens to state oficials who wrong us. freedom in our time.
American: Killed by whom? Surely summary executions are totally improper. And allowing the state to use deadly force is what creates these sort of situations. Government is cumbersome, prone to error, easily manipulated by special interest groups, there is no individual responsibility for decisions, etc. Letting the state execute people is always a bad idea.
