This is sad news.
I donated some money to ISIL a few years ago because I was impressed with some work in Costa Rica that they had done.
They sent me a large packet of newsletters and other stuff. It seemed to me that they were doing a lot of good things all over the world.
I really didn't keep up with them afterwards. I hope the organization can continue to be just as effective without him.

Severin: The goal is to keep the work going, encouraging libertarianism at home and abroad and helping the networking process between libertarians the world over. Of course ISIL took over Laissez Faire Books recently to keep it alive when it was set for closing. More information on ISIL can be found at www.isil.org and the email notices can be signed up for there along with the emails notices for Laissez Faire Books (you have to click for both or you get just the one).

A very sad day, indeed. I met Vince for the first time at the LP convention in Denver last month. He was a very nice man.

This is such sad news. I met Vince in Toronto in the early 70's. He was one of the nicest people I ever knew. He was a mighty force in the Libertarian Party of Canada. I know many of his friends from those days will be truly saddened to hear of his death and grateful to have known him.

I was gutted when I heard on Sunday the news of Vince's death. He was such a special person to all of us associated with ISIL.
Now it's for us to carry on his good work.

I didn't know Vince well, but I did have some dealings with him over the years. I saw him last at Freedomfest in Las Vegas in July 2007. He struck me as a decent, hardworking, dedicated fighter for libertarian ideas. His death is premature and will be a big loss for everyone fighting for individual liberty.

Hello I am Vincents' niece April. I wish to thank everyone who has wished Vinces' family condolances. We miss Vince a great deal and are greatful that he had some close friends around him when he passed. Unfortunately by the time I had found out he was sick, it was too late for me too come out to see him. We saw Vince every year at Christmas and this Christmas was not the same without him. He was a great influence in my life also. I met so many friends of his when I spent my summers with him in Toronto, and have many great memories of those times together. I remember him with sorrow and with love, he was everything to me and my kids. Vince had a great sense of humour and a love for fast cars, fine wine, great conversation and an unconditional love for his family. He is sadly missed and always remembered.
