Gravatar Paul Krugman is being "paternalistic" because the entire national media gave a pass to the lies told at the Republican debate?

By your logic, if you go to a doctor and he tells you that your health couldn't be better, and then 6 months later you find out that you're in the advanced stages of an inoperable cancer, the doctor shouldn't be charged with malpractice, because it's your own fault for listening to him. Or if your mechanic assures you that your brakes are brand new, only to find out they are rusted out pieces of shit and when they fail you and leave you an invalid - you'd be living in a "nanny state" to blame anyone but yourself. The mechanic and the doctor have every right to lie to you!

You're a moron, dude! People have a repsonsibility to tell the truth.

Gravatar Paul Krugman is not mentioned because of his paternialism but for his lying on many issues. Bush lied on Iraq, no doubt. Krugman lies about almost everything he writes. But since this is a satire you really need to lighten up and find a sense of humor.

Gravatar I'm curious, since you are critical of Michael Moore and his products... what is your take on Fahrenheit 9/11?

Gravatar Objectivist literature would become a luxury item! "A is A, Existence Exists, Survival qua qua qua Individualism!" deserves a high tax.

Then again, so does "Profit is theft". Take away Marx and Rand and maybe you'd induce more intellectual growth among the country's teenagers. Hmmm...I like this bandwagon.

Remember, a "fat tax" used to be a mere libertarian-circles joke!

Gravatar Ben. The tax on your comment is $4.00. Thanks.

Gravatar Add it to my tab.

Gravatar How about taxing the churches who feel they have a right to but their noses into politics? I would be referring to the Catholic nutjobs who are excommunicating politicians for not following their BS. If you want a voice, PAY TAXES LIKE THE REST OF THE SORRY SAPS YOU'RE TRYING TO CONTROL!
