i actually saw the LPDs live once here in Toronto and didnt hate it...guess i was in the mood for some second tier goth/industrial...the pretentiousness does get to one after a while, though...i cld never buy one of their CDs and take em home with me to listen to over and over...ugh

That Flying Nun comp sounds like a real winner! Got to track that one down at some point.

I truly loved the Shuji Inaba disc on Last Visible Dog from a cpl of years back. But that's actually all I got from that guy...any idea of where to go next?

the Inaba disk I mention is a new live one, and my first exposure to the man...probably a good next step. Also, George P. has been having trouble contacting you via email for like two weeks now. See if you can't drop him a line..hope your vacation was swell...off to work.
PS: Just got a package from Aquarius including the new album by Corrupted, new irr app ext, new coelacanth (jewelled antler-ish)...will make another of these rambling round-up posts soon.

Loren Chasse has yet to disappoint so I am sure that coelacanth disc is ace. haven't yet heard it myself...
