that marissa nadler disc is one of the discoveries of the year, as far as i'm concerned. if you get a chance, check out nick castro's "a spy in the house of god" (it's available through eclipse, among other places). speaking of amazing discoveries this year, this may well be my favorite album of 2004.
where have i heard the name Nick Castro? I'm far beyond over my record budget for 04, but I will get at least one more Eclipse order in soon. The Marissa piece is coming along nicely...we like the same movies!
great news about the marissa piece! can't wait to see it. as for mr. castro... do you have the 'million tongues festival' compilation? he's on there, too. otherwise, i'm not sure! i don't think he's released anything else.

school's not so bad... wears me out, though. the best news, though, is that the 2005-06 school year, which will be my last, will consist of two semesters with two classes each. i basically get a year off. heh. i vow here and now that foxy digitalis will be weekly this time next year.
