another good thing about david kilgour is that he sounds even better live. and this is despite the fact that, although he is one of new zealand's leading figures in music, his auckland show never sold out. this is the case for many brilliant new zealand artists who have played in recent months. i think there is something seriously wrong with new zealand people's taste in music when bands like coldplay and muse sell out yet you can get door sales for bands like sonic youth, will oldham, david kilgour, the bats. i beg to differ with wayne, a million people can be wrong.
