yeah, paths of glory is sensational! but maybe of all his earlier films, I still like The Killing more. and the greatest of em all is 2001, don't front!

yeah I was just attempting to be provocative. 2001 has long been my favorite Kubrick moviem that is until I finally saw Paths. The Killing is ace too, yeah. Much more fun that Resorvoir Dogs.

I love Paths of Glory though for almost the exact opposite reasons than 2001. Both are stylistically linked, and even thematically, but there's no confusing the good guys and bad guys in Paths, and it's short and to the point. That last scene? Priceless.
