More info on Hurdy Gurdy:
Hurdy Gurdy was a Danish group that consisted of Claus Boehling, guitar & vocals; Mac McLeod, bass; Jens Peter Marquard Otzen, drums.
They started playing with a famous Danish singer: Peter Belli, around 1965, changed their name i '67 and disbanded shortly after the recording of Hurdy Gurdy i 1972. They only recorded that album and two 7".
The psychedelic sound & Hendrix inspiration was carried on by Boehling in the band Secret Oyster. (btw Boehling's name is spelled with an o with a slash: Bøhling)

Thanks for the extra info, will make adjustments. So it was the rhythm section that went on to form Amber with Keith Relf from the Yardbirds. I've heard of Secret Oyster before, will keep an eye out.

actually Sideways ain't too bad either but it's an absolute shame that they ignored Paul Giamatti, who's easily the best actor around these days.
still have to catch up with the aviator, should do that soon!
