Bummer you missed em! I have seen them around a million times, and they have NEVER let me down! The crazy crowd (and band) going wild shows were great, and so were the mellower ones where everyone just stood there (you could pay more attention to the music that way).
If I lived in your neck of the woods, I'd be on the same wavelength. The Denton show was their first gig in the DFW area, and I think this was their second tour. I have lots of thier albums, really appreciate the variation. They're so far from a one trick pony, that's what pisses me off when people wanna dismiss them as noisy, pretentious bullshit. They're simply not listening! I will see em in NOV I hope.
