That is so funny!! But man I would have been seriously po'd.
I would dress her (him?) in one of those china doll outfits just to get even. Our oldest cat, Chuck, is beginning to behave badly. She has always had a thing for wool (not silk, not cotton, not anything synthetic, just plain old wool) and has taken to unraveling whatever she can find but she hides it in Little Girl's room at night. Cletus finds this in the morning and there's Chuck, covered in wool and looking like she knows perfectly well she's been bad.
Silly kitty! Can't get too mad at something like that. No harm done, right? Except for the nuisance of rewinding before you've had your coffee.
lol, good that you could laugh at the scene and even as you cleaned it up. so much better for your blood pressure that way.
