ok, i am no fan of sarah palin but i agree with you. she is under no obligation to show up on oprah's set. oprah made a big enough issue of refusing to have palin on the show during the campaign now she's bugged because she won't show up after the campaign? get over it.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but didn't Oprah refuse to do Letterman for the longest time? So is this a double standard? O can opt out of appearing on Letterman's show, but if Sarah P refuses to do O's show it's like insulting the Queen? Last time I checked God was spelled G-O-D not O-P-R-A-H

Oprah and Palin should be able to like or dislike whoever they want... too bad that's pretty much impossible if they want to maintain their approval ratings

Hard to say if Palin missed an opportunity. She is, afterall, a woman, and women are Oprah's target audience. It could've gone either way, as far as Palin's favor was concerned.
However, speaking as a thinking woman, I do *think* Palin did not represent us well, as a gender.
