you were blessed to have a bevy of cousins and mike among them. he was blessed to have you all as well. i'm glad you have the happy memories you can look at and savor and hope they temper the bad and sad memories.

It says something about a person when their absence is felt in all the little details...my father in law was like that; nothing happens where we don't with he could be a part of it, where we don't measure what we're doing against all the little parts of him.

Sometimes an ending is enough...but you notice it always comes with an ellipses, not a period...

You're right... bitter and sweet. I lost brother when he was just 9. I was still quite young, but For a while there was a heavy void in the house. It's been 17 years as well, and while he's still missed, all we can do is be grateful for the little life he got to live
