We have been reading your blog with interest as we plan to do the same although we are not taking early retirement - Trev is due to retire March 2009 and thats hopefully when the fun will begin. We wondered if you guys could give us any advice as we are not doing loads of research and looking at that is available new and second hand.
Today we looked at a few boats and realise what a mine field it is to buy a boat to live on. We also wonder if there is any access to sites where we could come into contact with people selling privately and not through a broker ( any money saved is good hey!)
Perhaps there are sites for this or other venues. You guys have been there, done this and got the t shirt err I mean boat and may have some words of wisdom. We cannot wait to follow our dream and hope we will be as happy as you guys sound.
