She ripped off a friend of a friend shortly before she died, due to being Economical with the truth!

I am really sorry to hear that Rob. I had no actual dealings with Virginia, just the advice that I put in my blog.

I was awfully sad to hear of Virginia Currer's death. At a period when I was in between careers and not earning much money, I contacted her with reluctance to sell my boat one Christmas. She was terribly kind and explained that I might as well keep it till April anyway given that boats tended not to sell at Christmas time. I did as she said and in the end managed to keep the boat on the water until the following August. Once I finally made up my mind I had to sell it, she expedited matters to such a degree and so competently I almost changed my mind, to which she exclaimed, "You're trying to sell your boat! This is no time to get emotional!". It was this humour and strength that I appreciated. No nonsense. Fun. A professional at all times. I'm particularly annoyed because I always promised myself that once I wanted to buy a boat again I would go to her. A female broker in the boat business is rare to find and a relief to find.
