Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

Gravatar Hello Sue,I cannot say I have been to Milton Keynes either ,only through it on a coach but I suppose that doesn't count.I was born in Slough(when it was in Bucks) and the Slough arm of the GU was a field or so away from the back of our house.I remember us walking along the towpath one day with our mother, when I was about seven years old,and my sister was lagging behind as usual when we heard a cry of distress from her.We rushed back thinking she had fallen into the canal but it was only into the stinging nettles.
About 60 years later I took another walk along the Slough arm with two lady friends.First one, then the other, slipped over in the mud onto her/their bottoms But they were well upholstered so no harm was done.
I know this has got nothing to do with Milton Keynes
Best wishes from Alan Ure
PS I look forward to visiting your site for the latest report

Gravatar Sue, thanks for beating me to the new month - at four minutes past midnight!

The next time you see someone dumping builder's rubbish into BW bins, see if you can get the van's number. That might help nail the blighters, without compromising your identity.

Gravatar Hello Alan, ah sweet memories for you then, and hey walking with TWO lady friends along the canal!! WOW!!

Glad you are enjoying the blog Alan and that it is bringing sweet memories flooding back

Andrew, teehee, I try to beat all my friends to the new month. Never thought of taking the number, the name was on the side too. I have seen it happen quite a few times, not that we errrrrrr 'hang around' rubbish areas of course
