We have been a resident on the Woodford Marina for 10 years. We have just left because of the farmer who went to extreme legal unpleasantness to destroy a wonderful marina. Non of the shortcomings you mention pertained until very recently. What you are describing is the remnants of the most wonderful Marina that I have known, destroyed by an unpleasant man.
I am so sorry that you saw it in this state. When the pair who run the Marina reestablish themselves you will come across a nice place
The Nene is a very difficult and in some respects hostile river.
I hope that you have many lovely experiences and that your sightings of the end of a very bitter battle are a rare event

It looked like a wonderful place underneath all that I saw, that is why I was 'taken aback'.
Obviously you have had a wonderful mooring there... I can imagine.
It was so quiet, tranquil and looked like it should have been an idylic place.
So where are you now then?
