Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

oooo I couldnt resist!!!!
The only good users of waterways are those who spend 2 weeks a year pootling up and down and possibly round the birmingham ring......
These people who actually live on the canals are a menace, no better than travellers at best. They are a burden on the tax payer and must be made to pay their way
NOTE - I do NOT belive any of the above - it's just what the Conservatives will be saying.
They are the most truely pathetic party, with quick knee jerk reactions to any issue....
On another topic, Sue, seeing as you don't have a home berth, where do you vote?

Ron, A whole new topic there! "They are a burden on the tax payer and must be made to pay their way"
We are on the electoral roll at daughter Wendie's house, so a postal vote on the other question.
Yep a visit to your homepage is well overdue

Hi Sue,
I visited his own sight and read some of the other drivel he's put there.
Would you believe that he lists his favourite book as:
In His Own Right: The Official Biography of William Hague
Tony Blair has little to worry about if they're all like him!
Best regards
Tony

To be fair, that blogpost is likely just the loyal kneejerk response of a young trainee pipsqueak supporter. You might get a better response from Iain Dale (my local candidate in Norfolk).
(I should mention that I am a Conservative supporter passim, although I'm not voting now, in protest at their refusal to support the return of hereditary peers. The Conservatives now simply seem to be trying to manage Blairism better. In fact, I'm trying to disclaim my right to vote, although without success so far. But I hope to emulate the erstwhile Viscount Stansgate...)

Tony,
Unfortunately the Cons will certainly sell off the BW portfolio of properties to fund their manifesto. His 'drivel' is only drivel because he knows it will happen, so that is a banker for his writings! He doesn't need to research
Andrew,
I don't feel its a kneejerker, it is gonna happen if the Cons get in, there is no doubt about that.
Not voting is a waste for whatever reasons. The only excuse for not voting is to stand for something you believe in?
Viscount Stansgate was never one for war.... but if the Cons get in this time, us boaters may well have to mount one
