Retirement with NP a soap?
At the weekend I was introducing an elderly aunt and uncle to the wonders of WWW and used the NP blog as an example.
After some consideration, my uncle said 'Well I suppose it is a bit like Eastenders or Corrie except you read about it rather than watch it'. 
Lot more interesting than the soaps I say.
Now you have completed a year on the cut, do you have any idea how much time you spend on average actually cruising each week? And may I ask how much fuel you have consumed in the year?

Maffi.... It's been more than a year actually, we have been living on the cut for 2 and half
We spend not a lot of time travelling each day... sometimes just a couple of miles, then again, if it's nice we might just spend a whole day travelling... no plans are made in particular... we have no need to go faster.. Our fuel consumption is about 1.3 lts an hour either travelling or moored (have to run engine anyway to charge batteries)...
