Painting inside the water tank I think is the worst job of all - even worse than blacking the bottom 
In the end I couldnt stand it any longer and had a liner made - costly but what a saving on stress etc.

Yes quite true Adrian.. we did it two years ago. At that time we had to. We had only had NP about 6 months, and the water started to taste foul.. the boatyard had painted the inside of the tank before we picked her up, but had not let the paint dry before putting water in.
Once Vic got in there he found that all the paint was soft!!
It is quite a job too, I remember at one point Vic poking his head out with a silly grin on his face.. I think he had quite a high on with the fumes!! 
I shall make him come out of there and take more rest times when we eventually do it!
