Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

You may remember I descended on you unexpectedly near Bedford in the summer, but I still received the warmest of welcome from you and all the dogs who were visiting you at the time. I was sorry to hear of the death of George.
I regularly check your pages for your (almost) stress free life as a method of relaxing near the end of the day. I'm glad Yarwell lock was not the same problem on your return journey.
Your latest blog invites those of us with "unlimited" bandwidth to help check your picture album. In the September 2005 album the thumbnails are fine but clicking on any of the first 14 pictures (up to and including Yarwell chains) only produces a blown up low resolution thumbnail and not the intended higher resolution picture.
Going back through your recent blogs, they now also feature very low resolution pictures for the same period - and I'm sure they weren't like that a few days ago when I first read them. I guess the problems are related.
The most recent photos, and those for August 2005, seem OK.
Thanks again for your welcome near Bedford and for my regular fixes of life with no problem.

Dear Sue
Give Wens a big hug from me won't you, I know just how much she loved that dog. Your right though he was a faithful mutt and never failed to give me a none stop tail wagging welcome at the shop. I know both the kids will miss him loads. It was the same when our cat Henry died, it took Laura quiet a while to get over him not being there, but then the new kitten we had bought her the previous month, called Eric, soon helped her through it. Nope I didnt chose the name either lmao. Mind you all these years later we can still see the signs of where Henry used to scratch his fav palm trunk and still imagine him stretched out in his fav spot where the sun was always the hotest. Btw tell wens I got her some new bulbs which I will drop off sometime before Xmas, cant have that new garden without flower can we. To hear that No Problems is back in winter mode takes me back to the time I visted you when you did all those locks and it was that cold frosty morning. Its a cold damp morning here on the island and I can hear the robins giving their dieing summer song, a sign for sure that the nights are drawing in and time for the birds that fly south to get a move on. Is it just me or has winter started early this year.
Regards to you both

Thanks Paul and James
Orange ISP has been a bit of a pain the last couple of days transferring to ftp has been difficult, they seem to be condensing files on upload, today I notice they are not, so have re-uploaded the problem ones, all should be ok now.
When they start this 'saving data' for themselves I get a lot of cached pages.. they won't send new ones even if I put a question mark after the urls which should force a new page whatever!
George will be sadly missed and last night I found it difficult to get off to sleep, bless him, he enjoyed his life though, and was happy with the family that chose him all those years ago.
