Useful beasties spiders - we have room for them at home too.

Hi Sue,
We have both very much enjoyed reading your adventures in the east of England, we live in Norfolk and know the area you were in very well.
It is our hope to have a NB and cruise the system as you do by the end of 2006 or early 2007.
How far in advance do you plan your year and where will you spend the winter?
Regards,
Maureen & Stuart

Peter,
Yes, before we moved onto NP when we lived inside bricks and mortar we had two very special spiders in the bathroom, Ermatrude and Fred!.. This summer the spiders did an excellent job of spinning webs over the open windows during the day, giving us some rest from the nagging nats!
Hi Maureen and Stuart,
Glad you have enjoyed, we have too!
You will certainly enjoy east anglia in a narrowboat for sure.
We don't usually 'plan' days ahead, well only if we have visitors coming or we need to travel by other modes for a reason, but we do normally have an idea of what area we would like to be in for the coming season.
Next summer it will be East Anglia again, and this winter will be spent between Coventry, Ashby, N Oxford and S Oxford Canals. It's not too far from our family base in Portsmouth for us to travel to them or them to us when the days are short of daylight.
