Hi Sue,
Hope you're feeling better now. Les recently brought home a cold which I kept for 3 weeks and loads of antibiotics! Hope you won't need that kind of treatment. Les' house sale is just about ready to exchange and complete next week, so we're off to look at the boat of our dreams tomorrow - with a deposit cheque in hand! Fingers crossed that he'll soon be afloat and with me to follow when my place is sold,
regards Sue and Les

Sounds like you have been very busy and I hope that you are getting over your cold. I see that you are on the Coventry canal, and I think that the Triumph automobile I drove for years was originally built in Coventry. I've never been there but will look forward to hearing all about it on your blog.
Best wishes,
Mark

Hi sue,
Hope you are feeling better, and here is a canal joke for you:-
There was a bargee who found one canal tunnel was just too low for his horse's ears to go under.
He promptly got out a hammer and chisel and began to carve two grooves along the tunnel roof.
"You're stupid" called a spectator from the bridge. "Why don't you just get your shovel out, and scrape some of the the dirt off the towpath?"
"It's you that's stupid" the bargee replied. "Can't you see - it's his ears that don't fit, not his hooves."
