When I went to the Post Office this morning my January copy of Canal Boat magazine was waiting for me. I noticed on the cover that the have a feature article about cruising the Ashby Canal. I look forward to reading this this evening, and will pass on to you any information which might be interesting. I gather you have been having a rather dreary time on the canal with the mud, the digging, etc. so I'll be interested to see what Canal Boat thinks of the Ashby.

Oh I expect Canal Boat will give it a good review.. most reviews are done in the summer.. everything is better in the summer!!

Tis a lovely canal Mark, just I have been a bit disappointed with some bits.. as you see in my most recent blog, It ain't too bad really!
