Well done Lucy!
Got to thinking the other day - is there a list anywhere of 'canalside' vets or at least ones accessible from the tow path? I remember reading in your blog sometime ago that Lucy had a bad poor and needed some veterinary care. How do you find a vet in an area you don't know?
Another question for you Sue (and other bloggers). Since going 'live' with my blog the level of spam I receive has gone up tremendously. How do other bloggers keep their spam levels down?

What a great story about Lucy. I have been reading a number of cruising blogs lately, but do like your crisp layout and interesting content. Keep up the good work.
We set off on our summer cruise at Easter in our nb Free Time(like you, we have a Liverpool Boat. We will start from Ripon and head down to Limehouse Basin and back. Six months should do it as we are too soft to over winter on the boat. Perpahs we will pass at some stage.
Looking forward to your next installment.

Derek... we were in Ripon in summer of 2004, we loved it. Well you are not too soft to winter on your boat! For sure it has been cold this winter!

Gillian,
I just get on the internet if I need a vet.. google. But the 'First Mate Guides' are very good too, they do have vet surgerys marked on them.
Spam, I presume you mean in the comments.. well in blogger if you go to your dashboard you can set your comments to be more secure. If you have a problem finding out how to do that let me know
