Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

Gravatar A great read. It's never easy to quit smoking, my husband keith can tell you that, but well worth it. he has been off the smokes for over 2 years now, after a health scare and is so much healthier, so keep up the great work. The canal through Stone is now open after we have been locked in for the winter. Alot of work was done on meaford locks and Newcastle Road lock, and we also had the emptying of the basin at the canal crusing company for a new marina to be built. Bit now it's all open as of the 17th march it is nice to see some traffic. We are however still moored at Roger Fullers yard watching our new boat hadar being built. We have yet to decide if we are crusing this year, as it will be full on with the fit out come the end of April. Although I think we both feel we need to go away for a few days, and have a change of scenery. We are both suffering with itchy feet LOL. If you are ever passing give us a shout we are on misty lady.
Take care and happy crusing.

Gravatar Hello Jo,

Well its seems to be working OK, we dont have any of those patches or anything. I think because we didn't actually plan to give up it has worked well. I just said to Vic, "Right we will not smoke another cigarette ever" "Ok" says he, and thats what happened, and it will be 4 weeks tomorrow!.

I have been reading your blog since you started it Jo.. yes itchy feet, for sure its nice to move.. no reason why you cant take a couple of days away.. hey why not put up a web cam on Hadar and 'beam' it back as you move away for a change of backyard?

For sure will pop by and say hi when we see you... probably be on Hadar though!!
