Yipes. 20 pounds per person for lunch!?! You must be kidding! I think this is a bit more than anyone would like to pay. From your cool description of the bar lunch I gather that the quality of the food at the Boat Inn has gone down over the last 16 years. Sorry for giving you a bum steer. Enjoyed seeing the picture although the exterior of the pub looks quite run down compared to how I remembered it.
I certainly agree with you that it would be nice if your weather got warmer, and it would be nice if ours got drier. Still raining in California. Thanks for the great blog.
