Yes, the mandarins are so exotic on a canal - or all the other places I've seen them. Saw one at Leighton B last year and they are a delight. Hope you've got my email? Sue
Hi there Sue and Vic. My name is Mary Cartwright, and I live in North Wales just outside of Caernarfon. We have been 'wannabe' boaters for some years now taking most of our holidays ' on the cut' It is a life that we love. I have been totally fascinated with your site and have spent quite some time this week(got a weeks holiday) having a potter around yours and various other sites. Im very impressed with how you have made the life on the canals your own. Hopefully one day we will be in a position to get our own boat. Holidays to start with and then who knows perhaps even a livaboard ourselves. Cheers Mary 
Hi Sue and Vic. I can't believe that you are repainting the sides of "No Problem." When you show pictures of your NB she always looks so sharp and freshly painted. You certainly take good care of her. I have especially enjoyed your blogs during the last couple of weeks because I have cruised this area of the canals and it's been great to see pictures which bring back fond memories.
