We just got back from a one week trip to Denver where we attended a big dolls show. We saw many new dolls and lots of old friends which was great fun. It was good to catch up on reading your postings, and it certainly seems like things are different on the River Nene. It looks like the water is so much more spacious compared to the canals. Thanks for all your great postings. I hope Vic is feeling well.

Yes the River Nene is a bit magical, I just simply love it!
Great to hear you enjoyed your show, I remember when in business myself it was always great to go to the shows once or twice a year and go on the stands and be spoilt because we were customers..
The water is not only more spacious, its cleaner and it 'runs'. You can actually taste the fresh water of the river as you walk along the river bank.
You can see the fish and waterlife, watch terns diving into the water to bring out small fish.. so many herons, and wildlife you just dont see on the canals.. even hoping to see some seals later..
