Sorry to hear that Lucy needs another op. If you would rather not wait around for two weeks, wouldn't the vet give you the x-rays so that they can be passed on to a vet who could do the operation sooner?

Hope Vic gets on OK in Oxford.

Like you, I hope there's still some summer left - we've still got our 'main' boating holiday of the year to come.

Here's hoping for a glorious Indian summer.

Take care of yourself.

Regards

Gillian

Gravatar Pity Vic is going to the hospital next monday, we travel to IWA festival the following monday from Stamford and go past both St Neots and Oxford on our way there! what a strange but unfortunately badly timed coincidence!

Gravatar Hi Sue,

Sorry to hear that Lucy will be having another operation. It does sound like she needs it, and here's hoping that everything goes well this time and that she gets back to full health.

I know that Vic's legs are a real worry and I hope that your trip to Oxford goes well. It was good that you got good news from the doctor a couple of weeks ago, and here's hoping for more good news.

Didn't see any news about your back and shoulder, but I hope that you are healing and getting to feel better. It is good that St. Neots seems to be a good place to be moored and I hope your stay is a pleasant one given all that is happening.

Best wishes,

Mark

Gravatar Gillian,

Well, I suppose I could go to another Vet, but they would want to do their own thing and pull and maul her about again, so I have decided to wait and go just the one more time to the vet and hope this time it works.

Lucy was really mad with me the last time I took her to the Vet here in St Neots.. I got the most awful doggy look from her, and she never spoke to me all that evening.. each time I talked to her, she just turned and looked the other way. She wouldnt eat for me not even out of my hand, but she would for others!!

Hey enjoy your holiday, I am sure the weather will cheer again before the winter comes!

Chris,

Yes shame that, but another day it will happen!!.. Enjoy Beale Park, hope it stays dry next weekend.

Mark,

Well there is a blog now about our trip to the Oxford Hospital, all good news.. my back and shoulder are not too bad, far more going on around me for me to even think about myself!!

I am sure the two family members in my life onboard here will both end up good and strong.. I think I will put my sergent majors hat on and drum out the orders "Victor, once round the field at trot" "Lucy, follow him!"

Sue
