Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

Gravatar What a great picture of Lucy! She looks like she is enjoying her walk. I can certainly understand why you have felt unsettled given all of the health problems on No Problem. Hopefully now everyone is on the mend and better days are ahead.

Here on the coast in California there is a Lily called the Bare Naked Pink Lady. When this Lily blooms it means it is the first sign of Fall. The Bare Naked Pink Ladies bloomed about ten days ago and the weather has become decidedly cooler the last week. At the same time I hear that you are thinking of lighting a fire and there is a great picture of a winter sky over the Oxford canal on the Granny Button's site. I guess that Fall is just around the corner and Winter not too far behind.

It was nice to read about your visit with the folks from NB Balhama, but it seemed like an awfully short visit. I guess there are schedules.

Best wishes and have a great weekend,

Mark

Gravatar Yeah Mark, its strange, Lucy seemingly is enjoying life to the full, almost putting to the back of her mind her injury, but on three legs she is, so something is not quite right...

A lovely friend of mine, Pat of NB Shotley Shuttle told me of a plant in this country that when it blooms means the beginning of fall or autumn as we know it... for the life of me I can't remember what it was now.. Pat died less than a year ago now.. I still can't believe it.. anyway...

I think that pic on Granny was one of last March.. Andrew is putting on some of his favourite pics at the moment, but you need to read when they were taken to get them in the right time of year.

Our friends on Balmara had to get to Bedford for their family to visit, so yes a short visit, but that's the way it is on the waterways, friends drop in for a coffee and away again til the next time...

Hope you had a good weekend too Mark xx
