Thank you for the update on Lucy's operation. Glad to hear that things went well and I hope she is on the road to a permanent recovery. Or should I say on the canal for a permanent recovery? It will be good to have her home on No Problem tomorrow.
If you haven't noticed, Canal Boat Magazine is publishing one meal recipe per issue. I have been preparing these at home and they are really quite good. I have also discovered that you can substitute chicken broth and chicken for beef in the recipes and they come out just as good. About two months ago they had a recipe for a dinner based on baked potatoes which is really outstanding. You may want to give these a try. If you want me to send you the recipe just let me know.
Sharlene's surgery recovery is going according to plan. We see the doctor next Monday, and will get an update then. All seems to be going well, and thank you for your well wishes. In four weeks we are supposed to go to Las Vegas for a doll convention, and there will have to be a lot of healing between now and then if we are going to make this trip.

Hi Mark, It'g going to take both Lucy and Sharlene a while to get going again me thinks!.. But knowing how much you two enjoy visiting the doll fairs, I bet she will be there with you at your side.. I shall have to tempt Lucy with some of her favourite walks to get her going too!!
I don't often get that Mag Mark, but I will go into St Neots tomorrow and have a look at one on to see the recipes, I might even buy it for a change.. the recipes sound good.
I am surprised you can get that mag in the States, or do you subscribe to it?
