Hi Sue & Vic, Enjoyed my daily fix of reading your blog, it must be great to be on your way again. We can't wait to be on the water, it seems an age since they started our shell, even though it's only 22 days! We've been looking at TV's- is yours a 12v one? We intend getting a mini satellite dish, probably from Roadpro as they are a good price. They weren't at Beale Park, which was a disappointment, although we did enjoy the show. So we'll have to visit them at Northampton in the near future,as we like to see what we are buying. Regards Elsie & Eric

Hi Sue
Very pleased to see you yesterday I've been enjoying your Blog for a couple of months now. I'm not surprised at your average speed you were being blown along by half a gale. I know, I was battering against it for 6 hours, Denver to Isleham. Have you thought of getting a GPS? apart from the safetey aspect of telling the emergency services exactly where you are, even the simplest one tells you your speed to point one MPH.
Cheers
Dave

Hi Sue and Vic,
I hope this doesn't effect your plans, but I just read on Narrowboat World that the Kennett and Avon canal has been closed at Keysham for a lock repair. Thought you would want to know.
Best wishes,
Mark

Hi Elsie,
We have a 15" Flat screen tele.. maybe we should have gone for a 17" one though as I could do with it a little bit bigger I must admit. I also visited Roadpro to have a look at their stuff.. You can catch the bus at Braunston, the one that goes to Daventry, and there is a bus stop right by road pro. Do have a look at my 'satellite page' which you can find on the left hand side of my blog under 'My Pages' that will give you quite a bit of info.
Dave it was nice to say Hi to you as well... I loved the name of the boat, and the colour of the front canopy was just perfect!! Others reading this, you will have to meet Dave and Poppy on your travels to know what I am talking about!!
Yes, we do have a gps unit Dave, very handy it is too when I go out walking and get lost!.. as long as I have my OS map with me of course!
We have put it on the roof a couple of times to see what speed we were going, it seems to be very accurate for that. Friend John came aboard one day with his tomtom and put it on the roof, we watched while No Problem went down the ROAD next to the canal at a staggering 3mph!!
Maffi,
Not been over to your blog for a while now... OK OK I have given myself a slap! Just going to have a quick look now before I write any more.... I cannot believe that the time has gone so quick Maffi.. Right now you are cruising Millie M. It is a grand day here on the Middle Levels, hope it is for you today too... enjoy.. but I know you will
Mark,
Thanks for that Mark.. I got a feeling that lock is right up the other end by Bristol, but I will check just to make sure.. I can't ever remember going through a lock with that name that's why I think it is at the other end to where we will enter.. Hope you have a good toy fair and that Sharlene keeps well to enjoy.
Sue
