Sue, Whilton's wifi was a venture of Richard's (the chandlery operator) I believe. Ask him tomorrow morning. I believe he operates it privately - you have to give him a 'mac' number of your computer, or he gives you a 'wep' number of the wifi transmitter, one of the two. Then he charges you an arm and a leg. That's how I think it works, anyway.
By the way, I'll be back on Granny on Friday night, coming up to Buckby Locks Saturday, hopefully to Crick on Sunday.

Andrew, Thanks for that, I noticed there is also wifi at Braunston Marina, costs £3.50 a day, or £10 a week or £25 a month.. still I suppose its handy for those that stay in the marina.. sorry to have missed you at Norton, thought you might have been there on Friday night knowing how much you enjoy travelling in the dark..
Rod, Yes it is quite expensive, but really much the same at the moment for unlimited 3g gprs. T Mobile do an unlimited capped at 2GB for £19.99 a month now.
