Hiya sue,Vic and Lucy well we're not too far away from you at the moment, we're moored in Crick marina until about Tuesday as we need to sort a few things out then we're heading to Braunston, maybe we'll catch up with tou one day

Hiya We're moored just by the bridge before Braunston tunnel, walked to welton where there's a 400 year old thatched pub about 3/4 of a mile from the canal and guess what?, it was shut!!! being renovated.

We're going to moor up at braunston tomorrow as we need to sort out a few batteries etc, and we're just taking our time, plodding along and learning as we've only had the boat about 3 weeks catch you up soon , all the best Keith and Dave nb Tanzanite.

LED lighting. Thanks for the link to Bedazzled. As we are having a new narrowboat built, due in January, I have been picking Richard's brains, and he has added a number of new LED 'bulbs' which can be used in some of the old fittings. Not just halogen types, but the bayonet type too. Should be good! Dave

Dave,

I didn't have that long to chat to Richard, but he is very enthusiastic, and certainly knows his trade. He is hoping to open a shop on the premises. I am glad he is getting some business through the link, that is nice, he deserves it.
