Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

On the Rochdale canal, they are putting police patrols on the boats (if the owners agree to let them) to try to stop anti social behaviour.

Hi Sue
Thanks for the mention - don't let me put you off Reading as its not such a bad place but I just think we over stayed our welcome last time!
I hope we don't miss you when you come through Newbury. Seth is dying to meet Lucy to show her the best places to sniff in town
We moor on Greenham Island in the town centre - so if you stop for services at Greenham Canal Services please don't forget to say hi!
Cheers
Mike on nb Globetrotter.
(and Seth - ship's dog!)

What a nice treat to receive a blog from No Problem on Saturday. Very good, and enjoyed it a lot.
Yes I've read about the problems in Reading and hope you have a safe passage.
Best wishes,
Mark

Furby,
Well I did hear that there are patrols on the Ashton Canal, thats near Manchester, but I didn't know about it on the Rochdale Canal.. sad really, trouble is these narrowboats are so slow they are easy targets..
Hi Mike,
Well I do hope you will be around when we pass through, would like to meet you over a cuppa for sure. We will make sure we stop at the services. The last time we stopped there I took the rubbish around to the skip, couldnt find how to open it.. and thought that you had to lob it over the top.. it was high.. all I managed to do was to leave two bin liners full of rubbish sitting on the top of the skip!! I turned away whistling as I went.. errrrrr "Wasn't me guv"!
Mark,
Oh I am sure we will be fine Mark, thank goodness this anti social behaviour doesn't happen all the time. Reading is a nice town too, and their football team has been promoted to our top league division, the Premiership, this year!
