Been a long term lurker so I thought I'd say hello. The photo of the mooring made me yearn for some time on the cut - only get a week at a time on our shared narrowboat, but autumn can be a truly special time... keep up the website, as its my sanctuary during the long days in the office !!

For sure, there is nothing like a calm day in Autumn out on the towpath, the colours are just out of this world.. the leaves are just about to turn that golden colour, makes it worth the winter that follows... then of course there is the white stuff to follow.. camera at the ready for the first morning to be white... need to have plenty of time to make the christmas cards with No Problem in the snow!
