Hi Sue.

Can you post some pictures of the lock gates being changed please, that is if you are staying there while they are done, the last time I saw gates changed was on the top lock at Stone on the Trent and Mersey. Unfortunately the job was delayed and stopped us completing the four counties ring, mind you, this was in 1978........... god I'm getting old!!

Ha.. That was a while ago then Actually I got stuck in floods on the River Soar in 1975!

Well as you can see from the latest blog we have moved away from Benham Lock, so unfortunately won't be able to take any pics..
