Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

Gravatar Well you get my vote.

Reduced grant = less waterways = less blog, and most importantly = more of our national heritage down the drain!!

Gravatar There has just been a piece on BBC News 24 TV channel on the boat story.

Gravatar There was also a bit on the BBC 10 O Clock news, it showed the protest in Mancester and London.

Lets hope it does some good.

Gravatar Just got back from a stoppage at Market Drayton (Shroppy)
can you up load your photos at
flickr.com/photos/SOWpics
That were all the photos of stoppages are
Thanks Derek

Gravatar Dave,

New canal restorations are going to be hard to do now, there wont be any money for that. I just hope that there will be no abandonment of waterways through lack of maintenance.

Furbs,

No Problem was seen on the 'Points West' BBC program yesterday, along with friend Annie of NB Moore2Life putting up her poster!!

Derek,

I don't know how to do flickr, + it is not a place that mobile internet likes to visit, it takes an absolute age to load the pages. I think it would be impossible to use flickr on this connection. If you could upload a couple for me from the Pewsey rally then that would be great!

Gravatar I've been following you and Moore2Life on your blogs for a few months. Very interesting, especially as we are planning to start 'continuous cruising' early in 2007. Do you actually stop at all through the winter, e.g. on some winter moorings, or just go on cruising till you are trapped by stoppages?

Gravatar Dave,

We cruise along the whole of the winter keeping to the continuous cruiser guidence/rules to not moor for longer than 14 days in any one location/village.

We try not to get trapped as such, and give ourselves as much water to cuise in as possible.

The boat engine has to be run for about 2 hours each day to keep up with the demand for electical power on No Problem, so we may as well move and have a new garden/mud patch every now and then!
