heh - have you got worn out walking her length yet?
I am glad things are coming together. When do you lose the use of Tara?
Best wishes and hope your weather is better than ours is meant to be this week end.
As I whizz past Pompey on the M27 tonight I will think of you lot resting quietly on an idyllic canal... and be extremely jealous.
Best wishes

Hi Sue and Vic,
The inside of NP is starting to look very homey. I like the pictures and the warm colored curtains. Are the walls really pink, or was the picture color from the sun shining through the curtains?
Where are you heading? I looked on the chart the other night to see where you were, but I was wondering where you will be cruising this summer?
Hope you have a great weekend and I'll look forward to your next posting.
Best wishes,
Mark

Hi Sue and Vic,
I've been watching the results of the Grand Union Canal Race on the internet and was surprised to see that 33 people finished this 145 mile race from Birmingham to London. This is a huge number. I remember reading Maiden Voyage which followed the trip of a narrowboat and butty from London to Birmingham with a lady crew during the war. It seemed it took them weeks to get to Birmingham and now this group runs the distance in less than 45 hours. Quite an accomplishement. Happy Bank Holiday.
Best wishes,
Mark

John,
It was indeed!
Ron,
Yes for sure it is a long way especially when putting stuff away, up and down up and down.. losing weight all the time though so not a bad thing
Mark,
No the walls are not pink, they are a sort of creamy colour with a hint of peach in them.. the curtains are the original ones from Black Prince, I am still waiting for Wendie to complete my curtains... they say a cobbler is poorly shod Mark!
Yes a very traditional race that is, and it always seems to rain when it is on. I am sure it would also take us many weeks to do the same trip Mark!
Hope you had a good weekend too
Sue
