We cruised past you on Sunday afternoon. There was a "late middle-aged" chap siting on a chair on the bank ... looking glum. I was going to hail across but felt guilty that I was travelling whilst you were not! The Brass Band was playing (just like in Trumpton!); the riverside walk was busy; the sun was out (just) but it was a chilly wind as we headed back to our mooring at Upware Marina, by the Five Miles .. pub.
