Hi
I just came across your blog and it is a great insight. Thank you for sharing all that you have.
My wife and I are just completing our most recent two-year challenge in southern Spain (home again by the end of this year) and looking for our next "adventure".
We have both always imagined living on a narrow boat and visiting parts of the UK we have never seen. However I had one concern, which may seem a tad pathetic. Are mosquitos a big problem on the canals and waterways? I used to holiday on the Norfolk Broads as a child but can't recall them being bad, but as I have got older some things seem to get worse - or is it me just getting grumpier?
Any advice welcome.

Ness, Andrew and Chris & Debbie, -------------------------------
Ness,
Yes I know, pity, but we will see you in the autumn no doubt, just make sure the wine cupboard is good and full then!
Have a good summer yourselves xx
Andrew,
Well the mossies are really no problem, yes for sure they are there, but there is plenty of insect repelent on the market. When we sit outside we light one of those anti mossie dont come close to us thingies that you can purchase in camp shops, that seems to do the trick!
Hey dont let that stop you boating on the beautiful waterways!
Chris & Debbie,
Many thanks for that, have added to the list, glad to see you are enjoying up there!
