Hi Sue
Is this a service that Paul provides just for you, or is he liable to turn up to help anyone who publicises when they're doing a long flight??!!!

For Adam: It's not just for Sue & Vic, but the service is only available when I'm not working and works best when you're near a railway station - feel free to email me if you're stuck

Hi Paul: It was the thought of starting a flight and then finding Mr Waterway Routes, windlass in hand, unexpectedly materialising on the tow path that rather appealed! Our next trip out isn't until September, unfortunately. I'm hoping we might have some crew with us, as the route we're planning could include the Hatton Flight (twice), Tardebigge, Farmer's Bridge, Ashted, and Camp Hill!

Hi Sue and Vic,
Great to see No Problem on the Nene for the first time. From your blog it sounds like you are having great luck bird watching already. Terrific pictures of your travels. Thanks for the posting.
We're off to Denver this week for our first doll convention of the new year. Not exactly as much fun as traveling down the Nene, but we are looking forward to a change of scenery.
Best wishes,
Mark

Hello Sue
I am a real NB'er now. I am reading your blog sitting in bed with my lappy connected via bluetooth the Orange WAP.
Still recovering after yesterdays jaunt.
Fox Narrowboats as I am sure you know is on the Old Course River Nene.

Sue - enjoying reading your blog as ever ready for our next holiday afloat. Saw that YTV are running Locks and Quays with Matthew Corbett. But all the episodes can be found on the Granada pages at the link below. To find the other episodes search in the box to the right of the viewer.

Kevin and Trevor,
Kevin, Welcome to the world of us narroboaters then!! Hey not many read my blog sitting in bed on a narrowboat for sure! I am flattered!
Trevor,
Many thanks for that link. I am not overly keen on those programs. For sure they are interesting, but I like to find my way rather than watch.
Another link you might enjoy for looking at boating then...

When Adam issues a challenge in the comments to meet Mr Waterway Routes walking down a flight of locks with windlass in hand that challenge has to be answered. See http://nbdebdale.blogspot.com/20...e-day-
four.html
I just hope Sue & Vic don't expect me to wear a suit and tie for helping them back up Rothersthorpe.
