Hi, Your comments are always most welcome

Hi Sue

Is this a service that Paul provides just for you, or is he liable to turn up to help anyone who publicises when they're doing a long flight??!!!

Gravatar For Adam: It's not just for Sue & Vic, but the service is only available when I'm not working and works best when you're near a railway station - feel free to email me if you're stuck

Gravatar Hi Paul: It was the thought of starting a flight and then finding Mr Waterway Routes, windlass in hand, unexpectedly materialising on the tow path that rather appealed! Our next trip out isn't until September, unfortunately. I'm hoping we might have some crew with us, as the route we're planning could include the Hatton Flight (twice), Tardebigge, Farmer's Bridge, Ashted, and Camp Hill!

Gravatar Welcome back to the East, Sue, Vic, Annie, Chas and the K9's.Have a great summer and let's hope the sun shines. Perhaps we will see you sometime when we are out and about around Ely.

Gravatar Hi Sue and Vic,

Great to see No Problem on the Nene for the first time. From your blog it sounds like you are having great luck bird watching already. Terrific pictures of your travels. Thanks for the posting.

We're off to Denver this week for our first doll convention of the new year. Not exactly as much fun as traveling down the Nene, but we are looking forward to a change of scenery.

Best wishes,

Mark

Gravatar Hi Sue and Vic
We are following up behind you and hope to be down the locks on Tuesday. Keep the info coming, we are new to the Nene and following your blog with interest. Hope to catch up with you again soon.
Take care
Dot and Derek

Gravatar Hello Sue

I am a real NB'er now. I am reading your blog sitting in bed with my lappy connected via bluetooth the Orange WAP.

Still recovering after yesterdays jaunt.

Fox Narrowboats as I am sure you know is on the Old Course River Nene.

Kevin

Gravatar Sue - enjoying reading your blog as ever ready for our next holiday afloat. Saw that YTV are running Locks and Quays with Matthew Corbett. But all the episodes can be found on the Granada pages at the link below. To find the other episodes search in the box to the right of the viewer.

Dot and Derek,

Looking forward to seeing you both.. no doubt you will overtake us.. we are slow coaches around the fens!

Gravatar Kevin and Trevor,

Kevin, Welcome to the world of us narroboaters then!! Hey not many read my blog sitting in bed on a narrowboat for sure! I am flattered!

Trevor,

Many thanks for that link. I am not overly keen on those programs. For sure they are interesting, but I like to find my way rather than watch.

Another link you might enjoy for looking at boating then...

Gravatar Hi Sue & Vic,
Glad you enjoyed Cogenhoe. It was nice to meet you.
Have a good journey and I hope to see you later in the year on your return trip.
Happy boating......

Gravatar Martin, Ah my memory ain't that bad then! It was a pleasure to meet you, and many thanks for your good wishes. For sure you will tag us on the way back and maybe we can share a pint in the 'bar' if it happens to be the weekend? See you on the way back

Gravatar When Adam issues a challenge in the comments to meet Mr Waterway Routes walking down a flight of locks with windlass in hand that challenge has to be answered. See http://nbdebdale.blogspot.com/20...e-day- four.html

I just hope Sue & Vic don't expect me to wear a suit and tie for helping them back up Rothersthorpe.

Gravatar Paul,

Well, well... yep I will now expect a suit.. oh and the blue tie is just fine... actually a blue and white tie would be better (Pompey Colours)!!!

Sue
