I was reading the logs for my watched caches along the K&A. That posse may have been Penny&Tigger they did 34 caches along there May 5th.
I have a feeling the towpaths won't stay dusty for long!

Good Grief Jane.. you may very well be right... that must be a record, there are a lot of caches along the canal, not all of them are easy!
Happy caching!

Hi Sue,
Love your site.
I have recently retired and moved on to our boat.
I have started a web site diary of our travels (not sure how long I will keep it up but my intentions are good!!!).
My site is at: http://www.erniesplace.com/Canal...g/
000_Index.htm - I am still playing with the layout and format but I think it is just about as I want it now.
Question, how does your feature 'Map of where we are' work? I think it is great and would love to have a similar feature on my site so that family can see where we are.
Many thanks
Ernie

Ernie,
Well happy retirement to you I am sure you will enjoy.
It is great to keep a diary, you won't regret it for sure. Yes it does take a bit of time to do, but well worth a half hour or so each day.
The web page on 'where we are now' is just a normal webpage, the map is a direct link to the waterscape mapping.. you need to find out where you are on their mapping then holding down the left key of the mouse press the letter 'e' which will give you the co-ordinates of the centre of the circle. You just need to change the link to those co-ordinates to pin point your position.
Try that out and give me a shout if you have problems.
