Sue.
If you're not frantic to leave Llangollen in the morning, a walk up to Castell Dinas Bran (sp?)is well worth the effort (Lucy would love the walk). If the weather cooperates, the views are fantastic. You can see the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct off in the distance!
We're back home in Winnipeg now. Remembering our meeting in Ellesmere. Enjoy your return trip on the canal!

Hi Sue
Great pictures and handy info for when I (hopefully) eventually manage to visit that area.
A number of the pictures showed No Problem's roof. I have often wondered what coating Black Prince boats use on their roofs as it seems different to what is used on other narrowboats.
Regards

Dennis and Linda,
I would have loved to have gone up to the old castle, but my legs are still not good enough to do that trip. I have had a problem with doing anything uphill since last Christmas, with my legs giving me a lot of grief at any sort of incline.
They are getting better for sure, but still not good enough to attempt that. It is almost a year since I got that virus that effected me so much, hopefully next year I will be back to walking wherever I wish
James,
I don't know the answer to your question, seems bottle did!
Val,
I am sure you will enjoy, especially if you are as lucky with the weather as we have been
Our roof has been stripped right back to bear metal, and we now have sand sprinkled on with a coat of paint, then painted over twice more to give a completely non slip finish.
