Are you planning a trip up the Leek arm?
If so drop in to the Hollybush. Great pub. If Steve the "hippy" type is there say hello. He won't know me, but a couple of years ago we had a great holiday in a cottage next to the Hollybush. Set us in motion for our own NB.
Sadly one of the locals that took us on our first trip on a NB died not long after :-(
Fond memories of the area. Have a beer there for us if you get that way.
There is a long story about all this, but I will tell you when we meet again. This time we'll bring cake LOL

Hi Sue,
It was good to meet you and Vic, and thanks for showing us around No Problem. We had a good trip up to Stone with Jen’s sister and brother-in-law, although I couldn’t describe them as natural boaters. We got back to Stafford Boat Club (our temporary home) at lunchtime today and then had the long drive back home.
It’s just over a week before we return to Sophie-Jane No.2 with our son Robert and daughters Lucy and Rosemary for our Four Counties trip. They are returning home early so Robert can collect his AS Level exam results. After car shuffling and bus and train journeys, Jen and I will then take SJ2 down to Gayton Junction where we have booked a mooring at the new Blisworth Marina - slightly closer to Southampton.

Hey nice to hear from you guys again. Not sure whether we will do the Caldon again this year.. last time we did it we got a lot of 'bandits' chucking house bricks and the like at us.. not too friendly at all.. but you never know, I suppose it depends on when we get there and school hols etc..
But if we do, we will have that beer!
